About BONCHA

BONCHA is an immersive space uniting a gallery and a tea salon. From choosing your tea bowl to preparing it yourself, guests engage with tea through all five senses. Here, the art of tea ceremony becomes a calm and intentional form of hospitality.

Course Information

Choose from two matcha experiences, beginning with the selection of your tea bowl and ending with the enjoyment of matcha.
*Maximum of 2 guests per group.

Basic Matcha Experience
- Duration: 45 minutes (Group size: Up to 2 guests)
- Select your tea bowl
- Two servings of matcha (one prepared by our staff, one prepared by yourself)
- One traditional Japanese sweet
- Includes a short lesson on how to prepare delicious matcha
- Price
- 2,500THB per person (tax not included)
Matcha Experience (Basic) + Three-Matcha Tasting
- Duration: 75 minutes (Group size: Up to 2 guests)
- Choose your preferred tea bowll
- Equivalent of two servings of matcha (Three-matcha tasting: Uji / Yame / Seasonal ×3, plus one bowl prepared by yourself)
- One traditional Japanese sweet (wagashi)
- A short lesson on how to prepare delicious matcha
- Price
- 3,500THB per person (tax not included)
Kimono Rental (Optional)
- Kimono rental is also available.
- Additional fee: +1,000 THB per person (tax not included)
- Easy-to-wear simplified style
- (No dressing skills required. Does not include hair or makeup.)
- Our staff will assist you with wearing the kimono
- (approximately 3–5 minutes.)

We offer two types of spaces.

Small Tea Room

Experience the authentic world of the Japanese tea ceremony, surrounded by tatami mats and a traditional sunken hearth.
Table Seating (Ryūrei Style)Coming Soon

A modern and comfortable table-and-chair setting. Enjoy the world of the tea ceremony in a more casual and relaxed way.

Private
Off-Site Tea Ceremony

BONCHA’s off-site tea ceremony brings a complete tea experience to your location. We set up a mobile tea room, live tea preparation by our tea practitioner, and serve carefully selected matcha and traditional Japanese sweets. This service is available for hotels, corporate events, and private spaces, creating an unforgettable moment wherever you are.

Private Reservations, Group Experiences & Filming Inquiries

At BONCHA, we also accept requests for Private venue reservations, group experiences, and location shoots.
We tailor each proposal to your purpose, group size, and preferred schedule.

Please note: Regular matcha experiences are limited to a maximum of 2 guests per group. Private bookings and group use are available upon consultation.

You may choose your preferred time, seating, and experience. We are happy to assist you in Thai, Japanese, or English, and solo guests are very welcome. While advance reservations are recommended, same-day reservations may be available if seats are open.
